Co-Founder

Carrie Nieman, M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Nieman is an otologist at Johns Hopkins, a Core Faculty member of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Cochlear Center for Hearing & Public Health, and a committed change agent. She was a member of the 2013-2014 cohort of The Social Innovation Lab, where she first introduced Access HEARS.

Kunal Parikh, Ph.D.

Dr. Parikh is a faculty member at Johns Hopkins University where he leads a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and clinicians in the Center for Bioengineering Innovation & Design to innovate and commercialize biomedical solutions for significant and unmet medical needs globally.

Frank Lin, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Lin is one of the leading experts on age-related hearing loss. He collaborates with multiple individuals across government, academia, and industry in his goal to help catalyze a transformation in our current societal approach to addressing hearing loss as a critical public health priority.

Executive Director

Khoi Le

Khoi previously served as Director of Sales and Business Development at National Spine, and has over sixteen years of experience growing multiple products and services portfolios in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, research, education and technology fields.

Client Services Manager

Shelley Stein

Shelley oversees the daily operations of Access HEARS. She provides hearing consultations and conducts service deliveries, including device fitting and ongoing, high-touch client support. She also focuses on establishing partnerships with local health care providers. Prior to joining Access HEARS, Shelley had over 15 years of sales and marketing experience in the health and wellness space.
